Can you believe it? Colorado Outward Bound School is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, and we’d love for you to join us! We look forward to reflecting on all those that have supported and joined COBS in blazing the trail as leaders in experiential outdoor education over the past 60 years, as well as share our exciting vision for the path ahead. There are a variety of ways to get involved for our 60th anniversary – check ‘em out below and choose your own adventure! Have questions? Contact Colvin Hedgepeth, Development Director, or Britta Mireley, Development Officer.
Over the course of our three-week online peer-to-peer fundraising campaign, we’re aiming to raise $60,000 to ensure that COBS can cultivate compassionate and resilient leaders long into the future.
Want to go the extra mile for COBS? We’re calling on our community to step up to the challenge and set up personal fundraising pages! Our crew are the greatest ambassadors for our work, and we would love your support in sharing your COBS story with your networks. We’ll also be sharing a toolkit soon to guide you along your fundraising journey and help you reach your summit.
Mark your calendars for an epic adventure on September 8th, plan your route to Littleton, and meet us at the Chatfield Farms trailhead to cheers to COBS’s 60 years. Think more outdoorsy, ample opportunities to interact with students, and even bringing a little bit of basecamp to life. Don’t wait to purchase your ticket (seating is limited!), grab your adventure buddies, coziest Colorado casual outfit, favorite memories from the trails, and get ready to enjoy an evening under the stars.
